This policy explains how Collar Creek (“we,” operated by Type 5 Marketing LLC) handles information when you visit collarcreek.com. We keep data collection minimal: we don’t run user accounts, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t collect more than we need to run the site.

Information we collect

  • Analytics data.We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful — things like pages viewed, general location (city/region level), device type, and which outbound product links are clicked. This is aggregated and not used to identify you personally.
  • Contact-form messages. If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email, and message you submit, so we can reply. We use these only to respond to you.
  • Server logs. Our host may keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and reliability.

Cookies and affiliate links

Google Analytics sets cookies to measure usage. In addition, when you click an affiliate link (for example to Amazon), the retailer may set a cookie so it can credit us if you make a purchase — this is how the affiliate relationship disclosed on our affiliate disclosure page works. Those cookies are set by the retailer under their own privacy policy, not by us. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

How we use information

To operate and improve the site, understand what content helps readers, respond to your messages, and keep the site secure. We do not use your information for advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Third parties

We rely on a few service providers who process data on our behalf: Google (Analytics), our hosting provider, and Microsoft (which delivers contact-form emails). Outbound links to retailers and other sites are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies once you leave collarcreek.com.

Your choices

  • Use your browser or an opt-out add-on to limit analytics cookies.
  • Ask us what contact-form data we hold about you, or request its deletion, by emailing info@collarcreek.com.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
